So with all these tires how does this machine turn on the spot? Well the large drive tires rotate independently of the other wheel and this is based on the drivers control of the handles.
Meaning yes you can steer them in completely opposite directions (although you will go no where). So these are great if you want to inch in a little closer on this side but can’t turn a whole mower in there.

How Often Should I Change the Blades?

Overtime the edges will become worn down which is going to provide an average to bad cut and in turn affect the health of your grass. If you start to notice brown spots and uneven cuts then these are all telling signs that your blades need some care.
They are easy to remove and sharpen although some people find replacing their blades is easier. So how often do you need to change the blades? Well this depends on a few things including how often you mow, what the grass is like and the area or size of the lawn.
As a rule of thumb I recommend every couple of months you should sharpen the blades, unless you mow twice or more a week. In this instance every month I would recommend replacing or sharpening the blades.
In terms of sharpening your blades this can be done several times before they will need to be replaced completely.
Also please take care when removing and replacing your blades. If you have never done it before I recommend consulting your manual and finding clear instructions. Or if you are the kind of person who jumps straight into something then I recommend taking pictures with your smartphone before dismantling bits and pieces.
Belts on the Mower
For some users they will find their belts break and there are a few reasons for this. No matter if it is new or old when placed under strain they have a tendency to break. This is almost always due to over loading in the following instances:
- Clumping grass under the deck- common problems when mowing thick, wet and lush grass
